Victoria Bain

VICTORIA BAIN

With a Couture Parisian background, inspired by the Atelier of Lesage, Victoria established her Company over 20 years ago. Her ultimate vision was ‘to meet the highest standards possible, and to design with a sensibility that overreached other embroidered fabrics that she had seen on the market’.

23 years on and Victoria has worked in conjunction with some of the world’s leading interior designers. Her work adorns 5 star luxury hotels, super yachts, and private homes around the world, from curtain leading edges, to panelled leather, upholstered walling, to strikingly tailored dining chairs.

Each item is manufactured by carefully sourced and extremely skilled embroidery teams where the focus is on craftsmanship and quality. The company’s capability is renowned, their attention to detail and expert knowledge.

The Company offers a custom arm to interior designers through our ‘Bespoke’ offering. Victoria and the team love working on unique embroidered projects and are here every step of the way for you. Communication is paramount and how the Company believe relationships are built for future projects as once the processes are understood the specifying process becomes second nature. As designers if you are working on a custom project it is crucial that you supply us with as much information as possible, this can stem from your original CAD design work or simply a sketched design idea.

The Company holds in excess of 300 different thread colours – over 5 different thread type finishes and also carries a list of superb ranges of ‘tried and tested’ base fabrics.

There are vast opportunities to incorporate embellishment into your schemes. Embroidery can simply transform a room be it as a textural detail, or as a hint or introduction of colour. Victoria sees it ‘as an important accent detail that can simply pull a scheme together.’

We look forward to hearing from you.

THE PROCESS

The Company works closely with clients at every stage. An initial appointment is set up to define exactly what is required. Sketches, CAD designs or a mood board can create the starting point.

A sample strike off is then created making sure all aspects of the custom design have been taken on board. From scale, to technique, thread colour and base fabric suitability.

Embroidery specification sheets are then created to scale before production commences and dependant on the complexity of the design, lead times can vary, but our standard lead times for completely unique bespoke work are 12-16 weeks.

Our bespoke team is based in the UK however allowing for tight turnarounds and quality control:
