Based in North London the Company designs and produces luxury and couture embroidered fabrics for the interiors market. Our client base consists of high end residential interior designers, boutique and 5 star hotels, and also covers the luxury superyacht market. We are distributed in the UK and Internationally. The role that we are offering will require a candidate with a knowledge of the luxury market and understanding of our high end customer profile.
Overall the role will require:
Liaising with interior design clients and our international distributors on our standard collections
Raising production purchase orders to factories based in the UK, Europe and India
Maintaining a production schedule/ plan and reviewing all stages to ensure timely delivery in order that agreed deadline dates are met
Overseeing fabric to factories and dispatching finished goods to clients
Supporting the lead designer from time to time on bespoke work
Supporting the team with sales enquiries as and when required
Skills and Experience
The applicant should ideally come from an interior or fashion based background with entry-level experience in production coordination and preferably a good base knowledge of the interiors industry.
Excellent organisational and communication skills both written and oral. Fluent in English.
Dedicated person who is a confident and dynamic individual; self-motivated and who enjoys a challenge and who can work to tight client deadlines.
Good manners and great telephone manner.
Being assertive is crucial and able to work under management and take instruction but also able to work independently.
Punctuality and reliability are vital.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Photoshop are essential.
